Post by: scott on June 23, 2009, 11:12:42 AM
Hi

I have TurboFloorplan 12 Deluxe installed under Windows Vista, when I launch the software the following error occurs.

An error has occured with this application, Windows is searching for a soloution.

If I look at more details the following information appears.

This seems to be a stackhash error message but I don't know what the cause is.

Turning off DEP as well making sure the software was running in administrator mode made no difference and setting the compatibility to Windows XP SP2 didn't work either.

Hasd anyone seen a similar error message with the sofwtare under Windows Vista?

I am having the same problem, but I don't get a chance to see 'details'.  Program won't start, because I have some development software on my machine I am able to put the program into debug.  It only tells me the following:

First-chance exception at 0x00347c35 in TurboFloorPlan_HD.exe: 0xC0000096: Privileged instruction.
Unhandled exception at 0x00347c35 in TurboFloorPlan_HD.exe: 0xC0000096: Privileged instruction.

Same result whether I run in compatible mode (XP SP2) or not, or whether I run as admin or not.

Hi Phil,

Welcome to the Forum.

I did not have any problem installing the Pro version on Vista using the Compatability Wizard.  The only other suggestion I can make is to use the search and look up all the entries on Vista.  There are a few and some include help contacts too, if other people's solutions do not help.
