Allan printed his manual in colour, but mine in acrobat reader displays and prints in grey. Printed most of it already, and its using the colours to make the grey colour.
Other documents display in colour so the faults does not seem to be with Acrobat Reader.
Any ideas?

Looks like it is not you, your printer, Acrobat or me for that matter - the user guide in V14 is not in colour. The one in V12 obviously was, as it was V12 that I printed. V14 had not changed that much to warrent printing it. I had not noticed that it had changed.
I must admit that I cannot see any logical reason not to include colour in a soft copy of a user guide - it does not cost any more and the user does not have to print in colour if they dont want.
Certainly loses something in B/W.
