Title: cabinets
Post by: Mike on October 13, 2009, 09:38:28 PM
I have Turbofloorplan Home and Interior.  Is there a way to partially rotate a cabinet unit so the it is on an angle, say 45* or 22.5*?

Also is there a way to print a cabinet layout with the units labeled so I can send to my supplier?

Hi Mike,

Welcome to the Forum.

You can set anything, to any angle, if you want.  By default the Angle Snap is set to 15 degrees but this can be changed in Settings > Program Settings > Drawing Aids.  If that is not working for you you may have Ortho turned on (Status Bar - right hand side). Ortho means you can only draw walls at right angles and place objects also.  On the Status bar you can also toggle Angle Snap off and on too.

You can print the cabinet layout and add text, dimensions etc using the techniques in this post http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,877.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,877.0.html).  This is how the PDF below was produced.

Hope you can follow this and that it helps.

Allan
