No matter what I do, the counter top wants to be 3/4 inch thick (19mm for those not in the US). Can anyone tell me how to get a 30mm thick counter top with the built in cabinets? I am trying to do an "as built" for my kitchen and TFP is NOT cooperating....
I think you will find that it has a thickness limit of 24mm (1 inch) or 79mm (bit over 3") depending how you do it. You can also set the nozing to 60mm or 80mm which gives the appearance the top is that thick.
I found the thicker top was possible by setting the cabinet to Counter top only (it will then go to 79 for the thickness and 80 for the nozing). This of course leaves you with no cabinet, only the top. If you now set it back to a cabinet, the thickness will go up from the original 24 to 59 and the nozing to 60. Don't ask why it does that!!! You will find when you change it to counter top that it falls to the floor, but it will come back up again when you turn the cabinet back on again.
This obviously takes it beyond the size you want.
Another option of course is to make a false top using a 'box' or the Interior Accessories /Decorative /Custom Member, or just use the same to add a panel to make it appear thicker.

Just seems odd that they give you a thickness option, but it doesn't do what is desired.....
I don't think this works as it should and I am going to report it as a bug and enhancement request.
First we should be able to set the thickness and whatever we need and not be restricted to 24mm (although that is probably about the maximum solid timber thickness that would normally be used).
However, the fact that you can set it as a Counter Top only and go up to 79mm and then switch back to a full cabinet and then go up to 59mm indicates something is not working quite as it should. You would think it should be just 24, 59 or 79 all the time, not vary depending on what you select first.
A secondary bug is the fact that when you select Counter Top, it drops to the floor. It should be settable of course but should default to the original cabinet height.
