I am finding very interesting the Stereo vision feature, however, I am not sure if I am missing something
Say I create a house, for example, and I add some landscape--> then I visualize the house and landscape in 3D --> the image I get is a raw image, and the trees look pixilated --> (I'd assume that this happens for rendering speed reasons, so is OK)--> then if I wish an image with better quality I use--> View--> Render 3D real view--> the render screen opens--> I adjust the parameters--> I get a good image, trees look nice, etc--> this image is exported to a file--> I close the rendering menu--> the image in the screen remains the same
Now, if I wish to apply the stereo vision feature, I am able to do it only over the raw image, but not on the rendered image, so the quality of the image I get is not good, specialy the trees
My question is--> is there a way to get a better quality of the image on the screen (for stereo vision purposes) or to apply the stereo vision feature over the rendered image?

Hi Archi,
I can't help much on Stereo vision as I have never looked at the option. I am almost blind in one eye so cannot see anything in stereo anyway, hence my lack of interest. However, having looked at it now, I suspect that you only get the 3D view - not rendered views in stereo. You will find that many of the trees appear pixilated as they are low resolution.
If you use your own plant photos you can get vastly improved quality. As an example see http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,771.0.html (http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,771.0.html). Although these are rendered images the tree quality is similar in 3D view using these photoboards. They can be quite large images but do not increase the TFP file size as they are only referenced from your hard drive. RAM may be affected however.
Something else that may interest you (though not stereo), is under Advanced Render. After the render has finishjed you can switch back to the Radiosity image (click the radio button) and you can then move the camera around the image with interior lights, shadows etc. Much more real than the 3D view walk around. It does not show reflections and cannot be saved unfortunately but is fascinating to use and show others.

yes, I agree. The quality of the trees' image is not the best. I think that the stereo vison works better for interiors
