I am able to print 8 1/2" x 11" on my desktop printer using the file print function fine, but as far as sending files to a blueprint company in order to generate normal blueprint size 2'x3' working drawings, I haven't had any luck. The file print function generated file doesn't even open for them but I can use the export to drawing function which generates a DXF file and they can open the file and print it but it comes out 8 1/2"x11". Does anyone know how to do this?

Hi, Welcome to the forum.

I do not have access to V12 right now (using my phone) but it should be the same as V15 if I remember correctly.

If you want to send it to a plan printer you will first have to install a PDF writer. I use PDF Creator (free dowload). Once installed it will show up as a new printer alongside your existing one. Set it to print to the PDF printer.

On the TFP plan view zoom to fill the screen with what you want to print. Now go to File/ Print and select PDF as the printer, set the Paper size to the size you want (2' x 3'), and set the plan to fill the page on the preview thumbnail by using Fit the Paper or choosing a scale  that will make it fill it.

You should now be able to print to a PDF file and you can send that to your blueprint company.
