make selection "stick"

When an object is selected and then user changes view (like 2D to 3D), the selection is lost.....but remembered in memory as one can menu "reselect" last selection.

Recommend the selection remain active for view changes...would make using the program a lot easier to use...or make it user option as on or off.

I agree entirely - it is a pain having to go to Edit/ Select Previous all the time.
