I was using TURBOFloorPlan3D Home & Landscape PRO, and when I tried to do a high resolution rendering the following came up:    Renderer  File: parse error  file: obj_832_1_0
How do you correct this?  Thanks..

Hi MrRam, welcome to the Forum!

My guess--> did you import a new object? (such as 3DS, sketchup, etc)
Does this problem happens with all the files? --> can you try to render a file with just one wall?
Also, can you inform the version you use, computer info (OS, RAM, etc)

In the meantime, I'd suggest these steps (it is a routine maintenance)

1 - Check the website of your video card manufacturer and update the drivers

2 - Go to the video setup on your PC (may be different for different versions of Windows and video card); for most, click on an empty part of the windows Desktop, click on Settings->Advanced->Troubleshoot. If you are using Win 7 look for Personalize--> Performance. Back the accelerations slider to the left, one level each time and see if the problem disappears

3 - Right click on the wallpaper (look for a place without icons)--> Properties--> Settings--> Advanced--> Open GL--> Compatibility Settings--> Force 16 bits--> Apply--> OK

4 - Set your video color depth at 24 or 32 bits ("true color")

5 - Go to www.microsoft.com/directx, and see what version is current and check if you have this version installed in your computer

6 - If the problem persists--> change the color settings from to 16 bit

7 - Run Malwarebytes http://www.malwarebytes.org/ and Spybot http://www.safer-networking.org/index2.html  (yes, run both, they are free). They use to find different things

Let us know about the results

Pat's suggestions are well worth trying as they may solve the problem but if not I would try the File/ Repair Project as this may also solve the problem.

The rendering engine is apparently having problems with some object in the model, the most common being a corrupt wall join. Repair Project will delete any corrupt objects it finds, so you may lose some walls or floors or it may appear to do nothing.   If the Repair does not seem to do anything and the render still gets stuck with the same object (unfortunately there is no way to look up the object by its number), zoom in on all the wall joins and make sure they are clean joins - no bits sticking out and no unintentional breaks etc. (See the examples in the image)  If the model has previously rendered Ok I would look first at your most recent changes as other objects, not only corrupt walls, can cause the problem.  It is good practive to keep several backups with different names when you are doing a major change ,so you can revert back to a previous model if necessary.

The problem can also be a PC issue, hence Pat's suggestions.

Let us know how you get on with it.

Welcome to the forum by the way!
