Kinky wall

I have a kink in an external wall and I have tried to delete it and lenghten it and the program closes down.

Any suggestions.

Hi Brian,

By 'kinky' do mean the odd join part way along the wall?
Have you tried the File / Repair Project? Hopefully if the wall is corrupt the repair will delete it for you. If the wall is corrupt it could explain the crashes.
Are you trying to delete the short piece that is 'selected' in the image?
What is alognside it - is it a window ?(seems to be marked with 3xW2106)
Have you tried selecting the longer wall section and lengthening that over the top of the short bit?

Yes, I am trying to delete the short piece of wall or lengthen it and have one continuous wall.
I have tried File-Repair Project and this hasn't fixed it.
I did have 3 windows along that wall and I deleted them so that I could lengthen the short length of wall and centre a new window in that position.
What are the angled lines shown on the diagram that I attached??
I did also have a beam running from the wall at a right angle to the wall which formed a front verandah
Maybe this caused the break (kink) in the Wall.
The programme crashes every time I try to lengthen or delete the two wall sections.

This is what the wall looks like after I have taken the windows out.
It has a short wall section between two longer wall sections.
The programme crashes everytime I try to delete, move or lengthen any of the wall sections.

Hi Brian,

Obviously any one of the wall sections could be causing the problem. I presume you have tired deleting each separately.  What about the floor - it may be involved if it is one that is dependent on the walls - likewise the ceiling, depending how they were inserted

May be best to post the BLD file (or email to me if you prefer) to see if I can do anything with it.
