Is there a way to  control the size of the green space.  I cannot seem to find anyway to resize that area.  I would like to make it the same as my lot so I do some landscape options. I guess if I was to build some fences around at the corrrect size that would work too.

You can also adjust the grid size in same basic window (program settings/drawing aids).....but you will find that even at the std 160 x 160 setup...that the grid and terrain do not match so be cautious....and use the measure tool to check your terrain size.

For example reset terrain to 100x100 and see what the size is.....I had troubles getting the two (grid and terrain) to match on my desktop...but just tried and its OK this time on my laptop (HA = "on")
