interesting quirk or bug?

Some of my earlier renders of the kitchen has visible breaks in radiosity along some of the walls (see the very visible line in the pic to the left of the door to the bedroom wing passage). These turned out to be wall breaks from walls attaching on the other side. Removing those otherside walls resulted in smooth walls again.

A bug? or a configuration/build issue?

I'd label it a bug as it happens all the time/often/for many users/many h/w configs and is clearly undesireable and identifiable/repeatable

Hi Doug and Tim,

Yes this is a bug and it has been around for a while now, in TFP and Envisioneer. They are obviously having difficulties dealing with it. Strange effect, as it almost seems to think there is an invisible wall there on the viewing side, making a corner in the room. It can also cause an unwanted line on a section or elevation view too. 

As you know, just draging the end of the connecting wall away from the other, even just 1 mm or fraction of an inch, will fix it.

Hopefully it will be addressed in a future release.
