Having trouble with lights not turning on

When I go do a real view rendering I notice that some of the lights will not appear "on" and some will.  I check the setting and it shows "on".  What could be the reason?

Hi Mark,

Are you using Basic or Advanced rendering?

If you are using Advanced you must have the Quality setting to at least 3 for all the lights to illuminate.

Hi Mark,

When you go to Real View there is an Options button at the bottom of the dialog box. That will take you to the Settings / Program Settings menu, but it just shows the Global Settings and Rendering defaults. The Quality setting is in Rendering. It only affects Advanced rendering. Set Antialias to 4. If you are using inside lights then it is best to turn Daylight off or at a most overcast or you could end up with no inside lights at all.
