Importing .skp Files

   Hi everybody :

                          Right now,  I'm still using TFP version 15.
                          I recently switched to Google Sketchup version 8.   I'm having a problem importing from GS 8 into TFP.       I made a custom couch, and when I drew the walls of the new TFP Project,  I wanted to see it I had to resize my custom couch.   But, when I got halfway through the  Import Dialog box,  my custom couch didn't even show in the display box.
                          Is there a compatibility issue here with GS 8 ?
