Is there a pan tool keyboard shortcut?

As a long-time Photoshop user I'm used to holding down the space bar to access the 'hand tool' and dragging the image onscreen.
Is there such a method in TFP? (ver 16.0.C1.901)

In 2D there is a hand tool....just not by using space bar...see hand on navigation tool bar

In 3D the slide tool is probably closest to pan

You can use keyboard shortcuts to get to most tools....follow the keystrokes listed in the menus...used with alt key per windows OS std

Hi Jon,

Don't know if it will help, but you also have the Auto Scroll (Settings / Program Settings / Drawing Aids).  With this on the plan will scroll if you are extending a wall for example and run out of screen. Alternatively you can set it so it only does this if you hold the Ctrl key in this situation. You can control the speed of the scroll also.

In Envisioneer (parent program) you can assign your own keys, so you can assign a key (though not the Space bar) to Pan if you want. Maybe we will get the Keyborad edit options in a later version.

There are already keystrokes for the Zoom options.
ZE will give you Zoom to Extents (Terrain or the Building if Terrain is turned off)
ZP will Zoom to the Previous screen display you had
ZW will make the Zoom Window option available, so you can draw a window around what you want to enlarge.
ZR will activate Zoom Realtime (moving the mouse up the screen will englarge and down the screen will shrink the plan). Be careful using this though - it is very easy to make the plan so small or large that you cannot see it!
ESC disables these options

A mouse scroll wheel can be used of course at anytime to zoom in or out, even part way through inserting something. It is handy too in that it will zoom in on the part of the screen where the mouse is positioned - so if you move to the top right for example it will zoom in on that corner, not the whole screen (ZR just does the whole screen).
