Some of my ceilings are protruding thru my roofs in 3D view.  Does this have something to do with elevations on location?  Or does it relate to wall hts not matching ceiling heights. or a little of both?

Hi Mark,

The ceiling will sits exacty where the Ceiling Height is set in Building Locations for the Location where the Ceiling is.

In your case this indicates that the Ceiling Height is set higher than the Wall Height setting, which is where the walls will extend to and where the Roof will sit.

If you are doing an Attic type room for example, where the walls are really short and ceiling should slope like the roof, then the Ceiling Height should be set the same as the walls and the Ceiling Type change to Cathedral and given a slope the same as the roof.

Does that all make sense?

If you need it in more detail just ask again.
