How to move 'my favorite elements' to the top of the catalog's group?

As recommended by Allan I try to move the elements I frequently use to the top of the list in their respective catalog groups.
Sometimes that is easy with drag and drop.
On other occasions it will not move - and I don't know the difference.
It is a small problem, but still annoying.
Any suggestion?

Can you give a screen dump of one that won't move?
As long as you are staying within the category they should move.

Well, what is a simple way to give you a screen dump?
Never done that before...

If you press the Print Screen button on your computer (usually abbreviated and on the top row of keys) it will copy the whole screen. If only want a copy of a dialog box, as you do, hold down the Alt key at the same time. You can then past the image into a photoeditor (eg  Microsoft Paint) and you can save it and post it on the forum.

Will test it soon, but for this problem is not necessary, I think: seems I found out what the problem was: moving is no problem in the element manager itself. Moving the element within the box on the right of the screen is not possible.

Correct. You cannot move objects in the side catalogue but you can in Elements Manager.

The one exception is the Textures, they can be moved within the 8 displayed in the panel. You can then scroll down and move it another 8 but you cant do this with normal catalogue elements.

It's just a minor disappointment. Would be more flexible if it could be done from anywhere.
I must say: TFP is not very user friendly in navigating. I wished the side bar had more tabs and options.

I must admit I can't think of any other tabs and options that could be added at the moment but if you have some suggestions, why not post them in the Feature Requests section of the forum? If they would be practical for everyone they may be implimented.

By the way, while on the subject of forum sections, questions should really be posted in the Looking For Help section rather than General Discussion. It is not it is not wrong to raise them here but it makes it easier for others to find answers to questions they may be wondering about.

Sorry, wasn't even aware of the other option. Must have overlooked it.
Will raise my new questions in the proper section.
Does anyone have the ability to move my 'old' forum questions to the appropriate one?

About the tabs: for a new user the terms catalog, element manager, library are confusing. It takes some time before things are clear.
It would be nicer if all of them were constanbly available as tabs in the right box. Now I must always think how I have to get the library again in the right box if I am working with elements, etc.

The location of the questions is not really critical, just makes it easy for tohers to find later. I can move them and may do when I get time but as I said not really critical.

Obviously Feature Requests is or they may never be seen by anyone. 

I suspect the Library / Catalogue etc are kept under menus as it is too easy for inexperienced ones to create big problems for themselves. Even experienced ones do sometimes also!!
