I am new to Cad Drawing but have purchased v16 of TurboFloorplan.  The problem I have encountered is the scale.  I draw the plans but when I go to print them using an A4 printer, the output is so small that it is impossible to read the measurments.  I have tried adjusting the Print to Scale on the printer preferences but this does not work. Similarly, I have tried altering the scale using  the View Properties manager but this seems to do nothing as far as the drawing is concerned.  I know there must be a way of drawing in the programme which will print 'WYSIWYG' but in a size large enough to see and work from.

Hi Terry,

Welcome to the forum.

Is it only the text that is small or the whole plan? Did you alter the text size from the default settings? The size of the text is the literal size you use. If you select a text that is 2mm or 1/8th inch then that is the size it will print on the paper.

Basically you select Window and then click the Window button. This takes you to your plan. Click at the upper left and drag to lower right to encloise the area you want to print.  Select Centre and the Scale you want. Essentially that is it, as per the image below.

Hopefully that helps.

Allan,
Thank you, that works just as you said it would.
