Happy New Year everyone here...

I am seeking knowledge of the optimum house design for  cyclone prone areas.   It is easy to do an over-kill in the structural design,   "form related to function"

We are using Amvic ICF combined with Trikin floor joist to create both hurricane / tornado resistant homes in addition to super energy efficient building.

Evergreeen Sustainable here in Wisconsin has a patent pending on the joist. We can span over 28' at 4' o/c with 4" conc slabs embeded with hydronic heat if needed.
