Stepped Block Wall

Ok, I  have seached the forum and can not find a solution to my issue.

I am duplicating my duplex that I am currently living in now for room size comparisons for when I layout a my house. Some room sizes are ok and other will be increased. Including basement ceiling.

This is an easy layout except for how the builder built the foundation wall for the basement.

I am trying to make block wall that is 50 feet  long but only 15 feet in lenth is at 68" high and the other 15' is at 81"

And yes I am not happy with a 81" for a floor to ceiling basement  or the craw space that is 4 feet tall with dirt".

The craw space is under the living room.

The person that built it must have been 4" tall.

Why back fill a 14 x 11' space under the living room when  all the block walls all go down to the same level, you could have included it as a basement.  Clueless.

Anyhow.

I see in properties in top and bottom step start and end  point but I don't see where you specify where  the step begins.

I have the wall now but the step is at half way point 25' and not at 15'

Thanks

To answer your basic question: the step top and bottom will always space the steps evenly so if you insert a wall Break (right click) you can step just a portion of the wall between the Breaks. If you have only one step I would just use a Break anyway and lower/raise the section you want.

This however also raises the same question as in your Wall Joining post, whether different locations should be used for the different wall heights.

You also seem to say that the walls 'go down to the same level'. Are you saying that the walls are not actually stepped - that just the floor is raised in one section?

It is hard to visualise sometimes from word descriptions: eg I am not sure whether you are stepping the top or bottom of the wall but I am assuming you mean the bottom.
