need to filter more entries for Project Estimate

Hey folks.  I'm doing a renovation and have put together a model of my house and have generated some project estimates.  Problem is that there are items like the lumber for the floor, wall and roof framing, the trim, the insulation, etc. that I can't figure out how to select so I can "uncheck" them for entry into the expenses list.  I've successfully excluded the walls, floors, and many other items from the list by going to the Properties sections for those items, but I can't do that for some of these "hidden" items. 

My workaround so far is to export everything into Excel and manually delete the lines I don't need, but I'll be doing this multiple times and that seems to be some busywork that it seems I shouldn't have to do.

Any help would be greatly appreciated!

Welcome to the forum.

I've successfully excluded the walls, floors, and many other items from the list by going to the Properties sections for those items, but I can't do that for some of these "hidden" items.

If by "hidden" items you mean things like insulation, paint etc there is nothing that I know of you can do to remove these except as you are doing. These things are customisable in the parent program Envisioneer, but at up to 25 times the price, it may not be a viable alternative, unless you can utilise it's construction drawing functionality.  Trim (basboard, crown molding, window stills etc) can be removed in the Wall / Trim properties.

I am guessing that, since this is a renovation, that you are only wanting to show the new items. This would normally be done, especially if it is just an addition to the existing building, by drawing the existing building on one Location and putting the renovations on another. That way you can just display the "New" Location in your Material List.
