finishing the end of a gable roof

I need to have a gable roof.

At the each end of the roof, I need brick work to go to the bottom of the facia .. and then lapboard for the rest of the roof.

How can this be done?

then set gable roof properties; gable end; select texture such as lap boards

Further to Doug's comment: On the Gable end you must also tick the box 'Display Gable'.
The image below was done previously for a Dutch Gable but the settings are the same.

Hi Hickson,

Keep in mind that if you use the 'Display Gable' option , you cannot insert a Window or Gable Vent up in the Gable end. It is NOT a true wall that accepts those objects.

In order to get two different textures and insert an object, you must use the extend to roof option and trim option that was described in your other posting.
