Show rafters in a glass roof

Hi all,

I have a glass roof on a building, and I expected that if I set the roof to be glass, such that I can see right through it to the sky, then I should be able to see the rafters. I want the timber rafters to be visible and supporting my glass roof. How do I make them visible? Even if I set the roof to be a truss roof, I see straight through the roof with no supports visible. If I set the roof material to, say, metal, then set the underside as glass, I can still see right through the roof from below.
I'm guessing there is an obvious answer to this, but I just can't find it.

Hi JBme,

Yess there is a very simple answer. If you go to the View Filter you will find that Framing is turned off by default. You need to untick the Lock Framing option, then click the + next to Roof and 'open the eye' of Roof Framing. This will make the roof framing visible. Note that you cannot alter the default framing other than spacing and frame timber size and texture. If the layout is not what you want, there are other ways to do it but much more complicated.
