I am using versions 15 and 16 of Turbo Floorplan.

When I print my floorplan it always has a light gray background and the lines are not very dark.  This is not the grid as it is turned off.  It is a solid light gray background.  If I try to print it to my Adobe PDF printer instead it barely prints and is unusable.

This make it worthless and I have to export it to Autocad just to get a decent print.

I have a quality Hp Laser printer - Is this normal or how to correct?

Thanks

Hi RexLan,

You haven't by any chance set the Workspace to grey (or some colour other than white) have you? If so, change it to white and this will remove the grey background. (Settings / Program Settings / Workspace - change Model View to white).

If lines are pale tick the "Print all colours as black" in the print dialog and you may also want to tick "Print Line Weights". Depending on how Line Weights are set in the model, this may not be desirable or you may want to choose different lines for any that are too thick or thin, in the elements 2D Appearance settings.

Hope that helps.

Thanks so much ... it "looked" like the workspace background was white but I went ahead and actually set it to white -- perfect and problem solved!
