I am trying to design a timber octagonal summerhouse which will stand on a concrete base, but the 3D image looks as if the whole cabin is suspended in mid air.  I am obviously missing something out.  Any suggestions as to what this may be?

Hi Terry,

It is hard to tell what has happened without an image to see but if it is just floating a short distance from the ground then I suspect it is just that the wall need to have the Drop Face  applied (in wall properties) and maybe the floor is not as thick as specified in the Location properties.

By default the Floor Level of the Ground Floor is set at 1ft or 300mm. Is that how thick your floor is? If it is thinner there will be a gap. Similarly, if the wall's Drop face is less than the Floor Level setting, then the exterior of the wall will not "Drop" over the edge of the floor and fill the gap.

If the Floor Level (top surface of the floor above the Terrain) is less than 1ft or 300mm, then you can change the figure and it should lower the whole floor and walls.(Settings/Building Locations)

If that does not solve it then post an image.
