I am sure it would be very popular and rake in a lot of money for the proprietors! 
I would go - as long as I  oils be assured that the glass would not break!

                In reality..........the  builders use thick plexiglass  rather than glass. In many of the underwater attractions, that's what they use.  There's an attraction in the U.S., called Sea World.  In one of the exhibits, they have a  "sidewalk" the goes through a curved, plexiglass  tunnel.  Outside the "window" you see the ocean floor and all manner of fish.

Hi Garystan.

There is a similar plexiglass underwater tunnel here in Perth too called AQWA Under Water World. (AQWA stands for Aquarium of Western Australian). The tunnel section attempts to replicate all the different types of underwater areas along the 12,000 klm of Western Australia's coastline. You can also go outside the tunnel and have a guided swim with sharks - that part is definitely not for me!!!
