Roof Elevation Issue

Any help would be great.  I am a newbie to the TurboFloorPlan system and have picked up a lot of tips, but am currently out of ideas.

I am running TFP Pro 17.5 

I am working on a house with attached garage and the garage is at an angle to the main house.  I am having trouble getting the roof elevation to match at the intersection of the house and the garage.  Seems to be related the interconnected roof structure being at a different point on the Y-axis, so the program is trying to set the elevation higher than it should be.  Is there anyway to set a roof endpoint elevation without altering the remainder of the roof?

I have attached a screen shot with the roof in question highlighted.  You can see the lowest two elevations at 10'-2" and 13'7"  I need those to be at the same height of 10'2"

Hi there,

I can't see the entire situation in the image but, yes, of course, you can change all the parameters
Some tips
- You can select the roof segment => Tool Options (right pane) => Elevation => select Peak (instead of base) => in the elevation bar, write the desired elevation (10'-2")
- If in this case, you experience problems to match the base of the roof, you can change the pitch or rotate the angle of the pitch of the roof segment.
If these tips don't solve the issue, feel free to post the TFP 17.5 file (PRO file)

I am trying to upload the .pro file, but the forum is not allowing me to upload this file type.  Is there a conversion that is needed?

I tried altering the Peak elevation, but that changed the base elevation.  I cannot alter the slope direction - that needs to stay where it is. 

Any other ideas to change just the single point elevation?

Is the roof a freehand roof? In order to switch the elevation from base to peak and rotate the pitch, you must use a freehand roof

The roof is a free hand roof

Hi there,

I checked your file. The problem is in the roof design, not in the program: the roof pieces need to fit all the points and in your case they won't fit because you need an intermediate piece with an intermediate pitch / angle.
In the image # 1 you can see that you have two different heights and 2 different pitches, so even if you set the same elevations in the peak, as show in the image # 2, you will get a hole if you don't add the necessary pieces to fit all the points. So, you will need to redesign the roof.
You can use the AutoRoof to help you with the design / pieces.
In the image # 3, I created a "T" roof with different pitches so you can see how I moved the points to fit all the elevations.
