What, programatically, is causing this problem associated with moving a wall?

I'm encountering a very strange quirk when attempting to move an exterior wall.

Picture 1a shows a portion of my drawing.  The wall I'm attempting to move is the "east" wall of the bedroom in the upper right corner of the picture.  The "south" wall of that bedroom is a long interior wall which aligns with an exterior wall that also runs east and west.  You can see that exterior wall is selected in the picture.

Picture 1b is pretty much the exact same picture as 1a, except the interior east-west wall that makes up the south wall of the bedroom is selected.  In drawing this plan I first drew exterior wall and then interior walls.

Picture 1c shows me moving the east wall of the bedroom further east.  What you can't see in the picture is is the double headed arrow; it's completely off the wall to the east; this wall seems to be "stuck" in the position shown.

If I keep moving the double headed arrow further east the wall eventually "jumps" past the north south exterior wall below it and I can then move the wall back toward the west and into alignment with that north south exterior wall.  The results are shown in picture 1d.  If I release the wall that odd shaped, double triangle wall stays in place.  You'll also notice that part of the east-west wall that forms the south wall of the bedroom has also shifted east.  That western most door is actually a door to a closet that's further west, (and out of the picture), and the opening to the living room has also shifted east and is now in the middle of an interior wall.  Oddly, the doors to the two bedrooms have not shifted, though their hinges are on that wall.

If I "undo" that last "move" - the one that created the odd-shaped wall - I now find that anytime I move that east bedroom wall the elements of the south wall that shifted with the last "move" that created the odd-shaped wall are now moving with it.

I haven't a clue what's going on here.

It is not a program issue.
Clearly, your drawings show a double set of walls.
Picture 1D shows the "green wall set" above a wall set that contains a window (below)

Thank you for responding.

But, I'm not really sure by what you mean by "double set of walls" or where you are seeing it.

At first I thought that meant that I'd drawn one wall right over another wall - essentially drawing the same wall twice - so I went through the drawing selecting walls and deleting them, expecting that I'd still see a wall - the first wall I'd drawn - showing up.  But that didn't happen.

I assume that "the green wall set" refers to the long "east - west" wall at the top of the picture as well as the shorter, odd shaped, "north - south" wall which it's attached to, and that "a wall set that contains a window (below)" refers to the vertical normally shaped wall (also green) that's in line with the odd shaped wall, but I'm not sure.  Assuming I've got my definitions right, that lower wall is also an exterior wall and I was just attempting to drag the easternmost bedroom wall past that, which it seems like you should be able to do.

As you can see in 1a, when I first started dragging the easternmost wall east, the south wall of the bedroom seemed to grow from an anchor point that was essentially the door jamb to that room's door.  After getting by the "sticking point" the anchor point for the south wall of the bedroom seemed to jump all the way over to the westernmost point of that wall.  So maybe I made some mistake in my drawing, though I'm not quite sure what that mistake is, but I thought if I understood how the program "thinks", how it really works, I could correct my mistake.

Could you clarify the what you mean by a "double set of walls' and where exactly you're seeing that?

I can see the drawing errors, but I'd need to check some additional drawing issues. I can't do this from my computer (I am just a volunteer here).

I'd suggest to contact Tech dept, so they can check this.
