Paint colors - whites

I've been trying to paint the window trim white, but the whites available are not very white. I am looking for something that would match the #ffffff standard. Is there a way for me to create my own paint tab graphic with this white and be able to apply it?

That starts on page 95 in my guide. Is there any way to send you my file? In both split view and full 3D view I select the paint color then move to the window and click. I get the ever spinning blue wheel then the menu pops up asking me where I want to apply the paint color. No matter what I select nothing happens. Then I try it again. This time the selection menu will flash for a split second then again I get the yellow man and nothing happens. In 3D view I selected a color then painted the wall just fine. I can't do the same for the window.

I'm a little confused. I think you were referring to setting the hardware acceleration which I did. Maybe it is working now or has something to do with the way lighting is rendered but the window trim sure doesn't look white to me. See the attached file.

Yes, I followed your instructions to use a custom color. I added the numbers for #ffffff and added the color then used it on the window trim. That's the screenshot I was referring to where to me it sure doesn't look white. It's grey like the cabinets.

TFP makes the rendering look real by applying shading to the surfaces, so they are not uniform. Otherwise, the renderings look two-dimensional and cartoon like. The gray you see is white with shading.
If you prefer to minimize the effect, set the lighting conditions to the maximum
