Sometimes when you pan or change the 2D view the camera ends up under something, for example, a kitchen cabinet. There is then no way to click on it because you get the cabinet. Is there some way to position or move the camera other than clicking on it?

Appreciate your help.

Use the 3D Tools => User Guide page 277 (section Moving Around in 3D)

Thanks, Patricia. That post helped with finding the dot and arrow. Now that I have imported a Sketchup symbol I am having issues with it. I finally figured out how to move it to the basement and resize it to look like a drainage pipe but I wanted to look at it in 3D. In 2D I have the basement selected and the main floor is faded out but the 3D window is still showing the main floor. How do I move the camera to the basement floor?

Appreciate your help.

I assume then that I would use a minus elevation, like -8'? Thanks.
