Animation Path Height Setting

Has anyone found a way to set the animation height, except for just one control point at a time?
The default 1776 mm is too high for eye height (except for some basketball players maybe!!).

Also is there a way to set the Target height in the Specify Target option?
At the moment it points to the floor. I would like to set it to eye height so you can make a view as if you are in the middle of the room looking around.  You can do that now except that you are looking at the floor, or if you set the control points low then you are look around at floor height (certainly NOT for basketball players!)

I've not found a way to do it.

It needs to be added to the list of suggested fixes/enhancements, too.

Thanks for confirming my syspicion that it is not possible - I will add it to the requests.

YES!! I Have Found A Way To Raise The Target Elevation For Animation!!

Rather than bore you with how I came across it, I'll just explain how to do it.

Insert an animation OUTSIDE the building, and only choose one additional control point for the camera to move to. (I'll explain why later. Select the "target" and drag it also to a location outside your building. (See 1st pic)

Place a 3D camera near that target, just above ground level, and double click it so you are looking through the 3D camera, you'll also have to be zoomed out far enough to see the animation camera in the air. Next, while in 3D view with the animation camera in view, click on the animation camera. This will show the animation camera's "target". (see 2nd pic)
Notice that the target is at -0- elevation.

Now comes a tricky part. You will want to be to the side of the target path, and with the animation camera selected, and the target in view, you can raise the target. (see 3rd pic)  The tricky part is if you select the animation camera, and can't see the target, if you have to "walk around" "slide around" etc, click the icons on the lower part of you screen because if you right click to chose the movement method, your animation camera "unselects" and you can't see the target then.

The reason I mentioned above to only insert on additional control point in you animation is optional, however I found that if you use the "elevate control point " tool to raise the elevation above the default, (which is 5'-6" above the current location) it is way easier to change the elevation of those 2 control points, then "ADD NEW" control points which will default to the elevation that you change your first two points to. If you are OK with the 5'-6" camera height, then it's fine to place all your desired control points from the beginning, but just remember.......you have to be able to see the animation camera AND the target through your 3D camera.

I suppose one could make the first control point outside the building, then continue the rest inside, and upon completion of getting your target height correct, move that first control point in where you want along with the target.

Congratulations Mike on finding that one!!! I can think of many other easier ways they could have provided this functionality - hopefully the long awaited patch or new release will provide it.

Thanks for passing on your discovery!!
