Hi All,
Just a couple quick questions. With regards to working with a curved wall, can the windows that are placed in the wall curve as well?

Also, what would be the best way to show a rooftop garden, and rectangular inner courtyard with a small area of grass? When I turned off the automatically insert floor tool, the area in the courtyard became blank instead of being the grass background surrounding the house. Any suggestions?

Thanks

Allan Chesney

Generally you can put a window into a curved wall or curve a wall that already has windows. Some will curve also (Bow) others stay straight but via sill curves. Just try the window you want and see what happens.

For the grass in the atrium just insert a floor by Picking Points and change the appearance to grass.

if you ever have two floors in the same place (sometimes in error or sometimes by construction) and you get interference and renders show parts of both floors,

simply raise the height of the floor a very small amount (such as .01" or 1mm) so that the correct material is on top but the raised floor edge will not be noticed from a camera a few feet/meters away.

This can happen in a variety of places such as walls or ceilings etc.  and the solution is similar...move an object a small amount.
