is that doable in turboplan home and landscape pro?
if not can i save the house as a house and put it in the catalog, I accidentally found a bunch of houses there - don't know where though
thanks

There is no way that I know of copying and pasting as such between different TFP files.  You can obviously save a file under another name, delete what you do not want and you have the remainder in another file that you can add to - but that is obviously not much use.

You can turn off anything that you do not want, to leave visible only the item that you want to copy to another file (don't forget to turn off the terrain) and you can File/Export that as a 3DS or DXF file which you can then import into another file.  That has limitation however - you can still change textures and resize the whole thing but you cannot split it apart - whatever you export is now one object.  This is fine if it is a piece of furniture but walls and such become one solid object so this is not practical either since you cannot modify it (other than textures) in the second file. The walls have on one texture -both sides and edges are the same, but trim is separate.

If some particular part of your project is worth keeping as it is (eg the kitchen say) then save the file with another name and delete everthing else except the kitchen and rebuild the rest - it is the only way I think.

I seem to recall that this copy/paste option has been requested for a future version.

You probably saw some if looking via the catalog manager...these are the ones for using the tool wizard to generate a few basic starter houses.
