are they auto erased as well  !

I think the autosave files have a BKP extension from memory. Settings / Program Settings has a section that shows where all the default file locations are and you can change them if desired.

if you still have a problem finding the files via a text string file address, or using the system settings, go to C:/ and do a search for *.bkp

using search i found them but when i click them i just get
"This action is only valid for products that are currently installed"
is this a window XP or Turboplan thing?
UPDATE: it was a windows error- now fixed. the files were in projects.
PS i wish one could open more than one project at a time!
thanks

You can...just open one .bld then open the other .bld...choose which one from menu/window....like most all windows work. But you can't copy/paste from one to the other.

And you can have several views open at same time, so jumping from 2d to 3D and back is a click on a tab of the screen.
