IMSi have released DoubleCad XT a free 2D CAD package which seems to be a free 2D version of TurboCad.

I have downloaded it and its great.  Seems that for the price of TFP and a download you can do it alll!

I wish TFP and DoubleCad XT had been around a couple of years ago, they would be my tool of choice, alas, too much investment now in other stuff.
