Hi anon125,

More chaos?  ???

You are talking about 4 different programs and, at least, 2 different manufacturers!!  :o

1 - This is the Turbofloorplan forum--> Turbofloorlan is a program from IMSI --> http://www.imsidesign.com/Products/TurboFLOORPLAN/tabid/395/Default.aspx
2 - Turboplan was an old program (I have a version dated) many years ago
3 - Punch software is a different manufacturer--> they have several programs, with their name as Punch HDL Nextgen, for example, and in addition, they powered two versions of 3D Home Architect (versions 9 and 10) --> these versions (currently discontinued) are supported in the page / forum you linked

So unfortunately, we can't help you  with the Punch products ;)

turboFLOORplan home and landscape pro
am i in the right place for this one?
thanks

Allan Chesney

Yes you are.

Maybe your confusion has come about because TURBOFloorplan Home and Landscape Pro V15 will now convert a Punch file. It requires a free plug-in provided by IMSI Design that is incorporated into Punch and creates a PXF file which TFP will convert. I do not know which version of Punch it will work with and I have not tried it, so no idea how well it works.

Hi Anon

In other post you mentioned that you have PRO files and BLD files, but as per you mention of the 3DHA forum, I'd assume that the PRO files were created with 3DHA--> Unfortunately, the PXF converter (included with TFP V14 and V15) cannot be installed in the 3DHA programs because they are not Power Tool enabled. So in your case, you can't convert your PRO files to BLD. However, if you wish to attach a PRO file, I will be glad to try a conversion (see below)

Hi Allan

Regarding the PXF converter provided with the new V15--> it is not different to the converter provided with V14... in other words, it doesn't work. I did several tests, with different results, but with the same problems mentioned in this post

Hi Pat,

Thanks for reminding me of those earlier reports on Punch conversions.  I just had a look on the Envisioneer forum too but they have less on Punch conversion than we do.  Obviously it has not sparked sufficient interest to warrent getting it to work properly.

Sounds like 3DHA has been in a few foster homes over the years!

Hi Allan,

Yes, you are correct, 3DHA (the name) was owned by different manufacturers, and the most incredible thing--> is same name for 100% different products. perhaps they only bought the name  ???

Regarding the Punch converter, in the Punch newest versions, the converter did not install properly, so I think that it is becoming pointless....
