Hi all, this is my first post but I've been lurking for all while.

Because of the generous input of the contributors of this form, I have no questions that were not answered before they were asked.(As of yet)

Jack Zimmer, 'cause of his input on the turbo cad forum I became aware of this inexpensive software ability to create models so easily.  Without you Jack I would not have known.  Turbo cad really needs to catch up with the ease of use of this software.  Thanks for showing the bridge between turbo cad and TurboFloorPlan.

I do architectural drafting (blueprints) and have been working at 3D modeling in turbocad, this software sure accelerated that process and all you guys made it easier. Thanks

Thanks Alan, and if no one has say it before, welcome to the forum.
I'm happy to help with the knowledge I have about the program, it is a great program and rather stable, most of the crashes is depends on other factors than the program.
You can never ask that the program will carry out the things that are not programmed for, it is easy in this program. This is the challenge for me how to carry out things that is not programmed, my philosophy is if you can do one way try another way, and I know that this is Allan very good at, he always come around with a solution.

I have notes something abut program-forums in general, more and more companies use the as a first outpost the it come to support, and if you not can get you answer from the forum your is always welcome to the companies own support, but you have to pay to get support.
This will I not see any wrong abut as long they keep down the price for the program as IMSI/Design have done, and I hope they will do in the future also.

Hi Alan,

Like Robert I would like to say thank you also. It is nice to know that others appreciate everyones endeavours to help, and, while you know that people do appreciate the help, it is especially nice when this is expressed, (as most do!).

I would also like to add my thanks to Pat, Doug and Robert and the many other users too, who come up with good ideas and different ways of doing things and discovering other functionality in the program that I had missed - which often happens. It never ceases to amaze me all the things that it will do, or that can be done, with a little 'out of the square' thinking. We all learn from each other.

Especially I would like to thank Jack for his abundant help to me when I first started using FloorPlan3D (predecessor to TFP) and over the last 10 years or more since then. His knowledge of TFP, and problem solving, are legendary and for those who may struggle a little with TFP at times, I suggest that they invest in Jack's video tutorials (http://www.imsidesign.com/Products/TurboFLOORPLAN/TurboFLOORPLANArchitecturalTraining/tabid/546/Default.aspx). They will have you up and running in no time. Thanks Jack for everything!

I have played with some importing TurboFloorPlan into turbocad. Kinda  funny because I actually I have been going the other way(turbo cad too TurboFloorPlan), I have a job on the drafting table that I have been playing with my first attempt to do a three D model in turbocad(very daunting experience) with minimal success, I brought it over to TurboFloorPlan and copied the details to create the three D model.  So much easier, I even added the pool, gazebo, indoor/outdoor furniture, plants and a whole lot of other elements that I don't think I could pull off in turbocad. 

So, yes I plan to use them together...  A tutorial on this subject would be extremely useful.

Hey, just the symbol or the plant encyclopedia would be worth the price of TurboFloorPlan.  Amazing value in the software.
