How do you resize a drawing or part of a drawing?

I'm wanting to design a geodesic dome home with attached dome garage (nothing like starting out complicated).  I have a basic floorplan jpeg that I've imported and traced, but the scale was off.

How can I rescale the entire drawing by measuring a linear dimension (the diameter of the dome, in this case) then resetting the measured line to a different length?  Or is there another way.

Second question, even more complicated (I'm that kind of guy).  I want to enlarge the garage to make it a 3-car garage, so how can I enlarge a portion of the drawing?  Or do I need to separate the drawings, enlarge the garage, then recombine them?

I don't think you can select all and change the scale of all the components....but if the dome is one object (don't know how you created it), you can select it and change its size from right-click/properties.

To get right scale from the start, insert an object (like a circle) to the size you want, import tracing, set tracing size circle to match the TFP circle, then insert the rest of the objects for 2D/3D. It may be easier to start over and get scale right from the start.

Don't try to make separate drawings and later combine them...TFP does not have that ability.  To change a garage, select the wall on one side and drag it out to enlarge size, then re-position or change/add doors, windows etc.  Dragging a wall will drag the adjacent walls along with so the "room" remains intact.  This is the basis for all bldg 'construction' in TFP.
