Hello,

Please forgive me if this has been asked and answered as I tried searching many different ways and was not able to find the problem I am having.

I have been working with v14 of Turbo FloorPlan and Landscape Pro and discovered there is an update that corrects the lack of printing options that I needed just last night.  So, I downloaded the update and installed it.  Now, when I go to open an existing drawing, I get the 'convert a copy, convert original or cancel' options.  I have tried both options with the same results: the converted drawing is completely 'frozen' and uneditable.  Am I doing something wrong or is this normal and I am now forced to redraw every plan I have created in the past 4 years?

I am using XP SP3 on a laptop with plenty of ram and space on the hard drive.  I can't believe I have lost all the time and work I have put into my previous projects.

Thanks in advance for any assistance anyone can offer.

EDIT:  In attempting to play with it a little more, I found I can add objects to the drawing but once they are there, they can't be modified or moved.  While placing them in the drawing they will snap to walls, etc, but once they are placed, it's like they no longer exist even though you can clearly seem them in the drawing.

Hi Jetranger! I think you have or the update turned of the edit in the View Filter.
look at this post http://forums.turbofloorplan.com/index.php/topic,1772.msg8030.html#msg8030 I think this is similar to your problem.

Hi Robert,

Thanks for the suggestion.  As it turns out, the Update turned the Hardware Acceleration back on and that is what my problem was.  I can't believe I didn't check it but I guess it was because I knew I had it turned off from the last time I had an issue.  I must be getting 'old timer's disease' but at least it is working now.  I'll have to have a look at your suggestion though as I'm sure if there is a way for that to get switched on me, it will.  That's just the kind of luck I have.

Thanks for taking the time to reply.
