deck textured

After much frustration of getting deck boards to accept texture map (see other messages resolving 90 vs 45 degree et al)

I managed to get it to look quite right.  Took a photo of actual deck boards and made suitable .jpg image and applied it with correct orientation and spacing size....see attached

Despite making .jpg seamless, there is a repeat pattern...but acceptable.  I think the only alternative is to make a bigger better .jpg or make the deck in pieces...after all every applied image is a "tiled" image unless it covers the object 1:1.
