Curving A Element

Hello Experts,

I need to create a curved curtain wall. Would like to use start and end points. This appears possible from user guide.
My question is usage of mid point possible? Are their pitfalls, one should be aware of?

Curves are fairly easy and intuitive.

Select object, right click, choose curve.  Then drag point(s) as desired.

Best thing to do is make a test sample .bld file and play around with curves to see how they work. If any problems, write here for help.

Curves work on many items but not all; only good way to find out is to try.  If it is not on the drop down list (right click on selected object) then it probably does not apply/work (it is not grayed out; it just does not show up on the list).

Hi Pat,

Just a further tip on this (if your curved wall is literally a curtain) you will find that the Corrugated Panelling textures give quite a good 'curtain' look - as in the image.

Thanks guys for the input. Using Work file to achieve the desire results.

Alan, I'm a "just" retired steel detailer. Below is the type of curtain wall I was trying to do. I was not very clear. I have
created the results I wished. The program has a lot more features then I thought, like steel members. I was able to setup
the steel frame and rotate the HSS tube steel to proper positions. I have found the Envisioneer User Guide has more details
about tools and proper usage.
