Wall frame not showing

I have a project where for some reason the wall frames are not showing although the filter is set to show the frames, walls are created with framing and all other framing (roof and floor) are showing.  Does anyone know what could be the reason behind this?  Other projects show the wall frames correctly with the same settings.  I have tried to repair the project but the result is the same.  Note that floors and roof were created correctly (and automatically where applicable).

Thank you,

Hi Bjorn,
I think the problem is with your floor somewhere.  In your picture the lower floor has peices of members extending out where they shouldn't. I'd try deleting and replacing it.

How did you build the walls? I tried a test with two stacked walls ( like your brick over stone) and when I put a floor in partway up the lower one (where the bottom of your door is) half of the framing disappeared.  If I use wainscotting for the walls instead of stacking two then everything seems to display.

I was wondering if TFP was acting up because you left 2 x 4 framing on an 8" wall but it doesn't seem to care, at least my TFP v16 Pro doesn't.  Since your corner detail doesn't show up on the Veiw filter where mine does I'm assuming you're using Deluxe.

If none of the other guys have a better idea you might try posting the build file.

Abhann,
I saw the missing floring and was wondering if that was an issue too.  So I deleted all details of the house and drew a new small house to test the idea.  The new house doesn't show any wall framing either...  :-\

Attached is the .bld file for you to test.

Thank you,

H Bjorn,

The problem is that you do do not have any framing set for that Location.  All settings are set to None. If you change them to Default (or whatever you want) the wall framing will appear.

Can tell I don't look at the framing often.  :)

Tried another quick test - the default locations have default framing even after editing heights, but as soon as you add a location, you have to add the framing.

Thanks, Allan, I got to learn something new, too!

Thank's a lot guys!  The problem walls are fixed and the frames are showing!
