Can I open two models?

I'd sometimes like to open a TFP on both of my screens. Is that possible? In one model I would not need to edit but I would like to ckick on walls to find orthogonal dimensions, properties, etc.  The other model would be the one being generated.  In the current case I want to add different foundations and I can't see how that can be edited in so I want to start over but have access to all the previous details.

From what I see, you can't run two instances of FloorPlan. I can expand TFP across both screens and place a file in each screen. Unfortunately, if you choose "Window / Tile", it stacks the drawings atop each other, instead of side-by-side.

Hi Tom,

You cannot open two instances of TFP on one computer as John said but you can open two projects in the one copy of the program. Open one then just File / Open a second one. You can use the Window menu to switch between the two. To use on two monitors, just stretch the screen across both monitors and you can then use the Window menu and Tile or Cascade the windows and drag one window onto the other monitor and resize both accordingly.

Running two projects at once may test out your computer's resourses.
