I'm wondering if any of you knowledgable people can help...

I wanted to import my standard catalogue from TurboFloorPlan v16 into ProArchitect.  PA has the plan drawing capabilities I need, but TFP has a far superior catalogue of plants.  Everything seemed to import well until I got this strange result...

All of the standard plants import without any problem (like the apple tree in the attached image), but all of the Australian plant content (from the SAME catalogue) render as large diarrhoea brown rectangles!  Anyone have any ideas why the program can't "see" these photo boards?

I still have no idea why the program can only see half the plants but not the rest.
I have narrowed it down to a specific point in the 'orchids' catalogue.
Half way down the list the 'Rock orchid' (and everything before it) works fine.
The very next flower, the 'Antelope orchid' (and everything else after it, in every folder), is missing.

Very strange why at that particular point everything is gone.  Still hoping someone out there might know what's happening.

No clue as I have a north american version.....but, I'd best guess the install or download went bad from a bad file for the catalog or catalog went corrupt after some use and failed during program closing.

Solution would be first to compare file sizes of know good vs. your installed/using/working badly file...bet your file is smaller. If so, re-install the catalog file. 
Hope you made a backup when first installing TFP; then catalog repair is easy but you lose any previously modified catalog items.....so save them all first if you want to get to them again later.

I don't remember TFP having a repair re-install of bad files, just a full program install to get you back to default everything.

Hi Gaz,

I did reply to your first post but somehow it did not get posted. Maybe I turned the computer off before I actually his the post button! 

Anyway...

How did you "import" the TFP catalogue into PA? Normally you would just connect it (File/ Catalogues/ Open) use what you want and then open your original one again. If there are lots of things then export as a BIM and import them into your own permanent  catalogue. Since there are many more plants in the TFP catalogue then maybe it should be your base one. I don't think it will.affect your 2D functionality. Try it and see.

The box you are getting instead of plant images, is indicating that the program cannot find the actual image, as this is stored in theTextures folder or the Plant Encyclopedia database (Garden.db). Is PA connected to your TFP Textures folder or its own? Re-name the PA one (probably virtuly identical except for plants) and copy the TFP one into the PA folder. Do the same with the Garden.db to the PA Plant Encyclopedia folder or the whole folder if necessary. These option may work to get all the TFP plants images for you. The catalogue itself only contains the thunmbnils.

However your later post,  about the  'cutoff' point may indicate my suggestions were not the answer anyway. Give them a go (using copies of everything of course) and see how it goes.

Thanks for the suggestions guys...I actually just copied the database file from the TFP folder to the PA folder.  It looks like I'll need to completely uninstall then reinstall everything (to undo my mistakes) then try your suggestions.  Bummer...I thought it was going to be easy!
