Fill drive between edgings V15

Hi,

This is all new for me, I'm trying to draw my house and garden with a new drive, it big with some curves etc, I've managed to put an edging round but thats it, so I was hoping someone could help me

firstly is there a way to join all the seperate lines and curves etc so it can be all selected as on, secondly how do I fill the space as when I try to it only puts in as a retangle, is there an easy fill?

Allan,

I would use the Driveway tool. For very complex drives I would use the patio tool. You cannot join lines, but you can select multiple items by holding down the shift key.

Hi Allan,

I noticed from your subject line you show  V15. If you are actually using V15 then you are in the wrong section of the forum and the solution may not fit your problem, as V17 is a totally different program to previous versions.

In V15 you have a driveway tool which would probably do what you want but if the area is of a very unusual shape then you could simply use the Fill tool on the Landscape toolbar. You would just, in effect, trace around the perimeter of your edging following the shape. If you have a long curve, simply click at each end and when finished (right click Finish to join the last section) you can right click again and Curve any line. The Fill can be easily dragged by points and straights, to any shape later, so you do not have to be too precise when drawing it.

If you are in V17 then that may not apply.
