Unable to install garage

Using Ver.17 - I am unable to install a garage door in my floor plan.  I select the garage door in tools but when I drag it to the drawing, it turns into a standard 30" wide entry door. Is there a software bug with garage doors?

Hi Tknudsen, welcome to the TFP Forum! 

Answering your question: there are not bugs with the Garage doors.
To insert a garage door, try the following steps (for better visualization, check the image attached)
- In the Floor tab, click the door tool: 5th icon from the left => the Tool option bar (right pane) is activated => click on the door selection button (outlined in green in the image) and select the garage door in menu
- Select the desired dimensions => for example (outlined in red in the image) 120" => after you write the new dimension=> press Enter => this is a very importent step => After writing any new value in the Tool options bar or the Elevation bar,  like wall height, roof pitches, doors' dimensions, etc you need to press Enter in your keyboard so the change takes effect 
- With the door and new dims selected, just click on the wall (red arrow in the image) and place the door  (do not drag and drop)
- The order is not important. If you wish you can:
  - Place any door => select it => change the model in the Tool Options bar
  - Place any door => select it => change the dimensions in the Tool Options bar (don't forget to press Enter after each change)
