A frame structures

I'm getting ready to start an Aframe design and realized I don't have a clue yet as how to make that happen in TFP. Anybody done this successfully?

Hi ! Do you have the specifications for trusses, cross-bracing, spacing, angle etc ??

Um, I'd suggest that you experiment with an empty 'loft' before you try to roof furnished house...

I have not but it would seem straight forward.

Open beam? there are truss beams available to insert.

Short walls and steep roof with gable ends

Gable ends do not recieve doors readily. Getting the second floor sized and shaped also seems like it is going to be rough. The really short wall approach might work. The inside roof surface is to be finished.

Ultra mini walls do work and the door should go into the mini walls and extend into the gables OK.  You can change the inside surface of the roof if you want or you can also pitch the ceiling to provide the inside sloping wall surfaces.

After you try a setup and you are still having problems, you can post pics of your problems to help explain and your .bld file so others here can offer very specific help....we all learn together.
