Is there any way to "break" a foundation?

Drawing the outline, (exterior walls), of my house automatically creates a foundation under these walls.  I can add foundation to the house that the program doesn't "know" about, but I don't see any way to remove foundation sections the program has automatically created.  Specifically, our garage is within these interior walls, though at this point I've only drawn the "2nd floor" living space.  (Lot slopes from South to North and from East to West and I haven't mastered the topo tools yet.)  I'd like to remove the foundation lines at the garage door entrance since this section is not supporting the exterior wall.

Is there any way of doing that, at this point?

(I understand that the garage slab has its own foundation but this will be going to an engineer for purposes of a quote for leveling the house and there's no jacking that can take place there.)

Sure. Set the auto footing to 0" and draw manually the desired elements / dims.

Ah!  An ingenious work-around.  I like it!

Thanks.
