Gable roof

When I built the roof it gave all hip roofs as expected. To change one wall to a gable roof I thought I could highlight the wall and change the roof drop down menu to gable and it would change but it didn't. Must be doing something wrong.

Turbofloorplan version 17. I thought I was in that section for questions.

By program name, I mean Pro or Deluxe, etc.

The reason of my request is because different programs include or not different features. In order to provide an accurate answer, I need the exact information.
