3D effects SketchUp models

The 3D effects work on Imported SketchUp models BUT they only work for the drawing session.When I save then close and re-open the drawing the 3D effects are gone from the render.
Import a simple SketchUp model and apply FP materials then add 3D effects displacement and reflections.
Enable Photo-realistic Render mode and render a preview then  save and close the FP drawing.
Open the drawing and render a preview.
Is this a BUG or perhaps part of my dysfunctional build of FloorPlan?
