Dimension in Z-direction?

I want to apply elevation dimensions to kitchen cabinets, i.e. from the floor to the top of the cabinet. I don't see how to do this.

From memory I dont think this is possible. You could export it as a DXF file and do it in a CAD program or as  BMP and do it in Powerpoint or a photo editing program.

Also I have done kitchen cabinet elev. views with dimensions using "Visio" program....

Visio has dimensioning tools so its easy to scale a .bmp file used as a background layer and apply dimensions and notes on upper layer(s).

You could also use a vector program like Illustrator or CorelDraw....or even a simple free program from Internet
